Raiding Mechanics

Dungeons

Dungeons mirror mLoot, since they are made up of eight common sets of traits. In mLoot, these traits are all types of adventure gear such as Weapons, Chest Armour and Foot Armour. The Dungeon traits on the other hand are obstacles; things like Enemies, Traps and Passageways.

Each one of the eight obstacles in the Dungeon can be linked to one type of mLoot adventure gear. For instance, the Enemies are linked with the Weapons. In order to get hit points on a given Enemy the adventurer must carry a particular type of Weapon.

Clicking on a Dungeon will allow the raider to see how many hit points they may be able to gain on each of the Dungeon's eight obstacles.

The hit point scores are dictated by the loot bag's affinity with the particular Dungeon in hand. In the above example, the Red Dragon has 2 hit points remaining before it will be defeated. Since the Cap is not effective against the Red Dragon, 0 hit points are scored. On the other hand, The Wonderous Twine of Ping has 2 hit points remaining before it will be defeated. Since the War Belt of Power has a potential score of 3 hit points against The Wonderous Twine of Ping (as can be seen in green on the right hand image) it scores the full 2 remaining hit points.

Loot-Dungeon Affinity

In the previous section we talked about certain Loot items achieving hit point scores against certain Dungeon obstacles. There are several factors taken into consideration when calculating these hit points scores per item.

To preface this section, it is important to note that the Dungeon traits are structured in exactly the same way as the Loot traits. That is, for every Loot item there is a paired Dungeon obstacle. As an example, there are 18 Weapons and 18 Enemies. The Warhammer is paired with the Orcs and the Quarterstaff is paired with the Giant Spiders.

Moreover, just as loot items have classes and power rankings, as do the Dungeon obstacles. The class and rank for each Dungeon obstacle are mirrored by the paired Loot item's class and rank. For example, both the Quarterstaff and the Giant Spiders are in the Warrior class and have a rank of 2 .

Below you can find the Loot items with their class and rank along with their corresponding Dungeon obstacles.

Scoring Table

Your loot bag may satisfy any number of these Hit Point conditions and the total HP score for an individual Loot item is calculated by summing these Hit Points up.

Note that since Rings and Necklaces don't have a class, these items can only score hit points if they have a Perfect Match, Order Match or Order Match +1.
